The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Paddle-out We are still accepting donations, so please follow the link on the left if you wish to do so. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH
Remember more than 58,000 men and women gave their full measure of devotion and paid the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War, and let us not forget the 150,000
who have committed sucide as a direct result of the war. In the
spirit of the Hawaiian tradition, a ceremonial paddle-out is often performed by surfers who wish to remember and honor those who
have given their lives. This paddle-out is in memory of those fallen heroes. All veterans who served in any location or capacity during the
Vietnam War were encouraged to participate in this paddle-out ceremony. The public was invited to witness this special event and partake in
all other associated activities to show support to our American heroes both then and now. This is a challenge to all Vietnam Veterans to
come together and again remember our fallen. It is not for us. It is for them.
